Food is good, staff is friendly. Wings and the pizza great price. Could not give five stars. The beer is not cold enough for me. Should turn down coolers or put on ice

Bought a groupon, Went a week before it expired because we live about 30 minutes away.. SO WORTH IT. Best money I ever spent, this place is clean, the drinks are good, the food is GREAT but most important THE STAFF WAS SO AMAZING. Katie, who seemed to be the manager, was helping our waitress who was new (Andrea). Andrea didn't seem new, she seemed comfortable and helpful. Katie was absolutely a doll, She took care of everything we needed AND EVEN BOXED OUR PIZZA FOR US because it wasn't to busy in there. Those girls worked hard, the manager and owner should be proud of their team.

Judging from what the regulars at the place were eating, their pizza seems to be the thing here, but I'll tell you what... The Boomer burger (with fried egg and thick-cut bacon) just may be both the best kept secret and the best damn burger in Metro Detroit. Seriously, cooked medium and on the bun they use, it's that good. It is a half-pounder (I usually stick to third pounders), but I managed to eat it all. The wife and boy got burgers as well, and demolished them. As for accompaniments, consensus at the table was that my curly fries were slightly better than my wife's sweet potato fries and my son's steak fries. Also, the wings they serve a cheap, HUGE, and delicious. They put your usual B-Dub's pigeon wings to shame. Plenty of sauce choices, too. There's beer and TV's aplenty, and early on at least, it still has a family vibe to it. However, the band was setting up as we were finishing dinner, so I have a feeling it changes a little later on.

Love this place. Food has been great every time. Pizza is delicious and the wings are amazing. Best in the area IMO. Also, the waitstaff is friendly, especially Dakota.

I was there with a group of friends on a Friday night to get some dinner and catch a Michigan hockey game. Beer selection was great, traditional pizza was excellent but my issue was with the TV. For a bar that advertises themselves as a "Michigan" bar, how can they not carry the channel the team plays on. The Big Ten Network was not available and my friends and were disappointed. Unfortunately we had to go somewhere else to watch the game.

I love this place. It's just down the street from me and tried it for the first time and have been there three times already. They have awesome wings. Way better than bdubs. 12 for only $6.99/7.99. And a dollar more for 6 more. They have good drinks and awesome screens to watch the games. Definitely my new crew hangout spot.

My family has been going here for a long time now for the pizza. We tried it again this week after the ownership has since changed. The service was very slow. The waitress kept disappearing and my sister asked if the servers were also cooking or something. We waited an hour for pizza and it came out cold. How does that even happen?? The place was fairly empty too on this early afternoon. Normally when you get a thick pizza like that, we have to wait for it to cool. The cold temp definitely put a damper on the whole experience. They did take 15% off the bill. The recipe seems to have changed a bit too, not as good as it was. Antipasto salad was fine, coffee not very good. I am not sure if we will be returning

I still love the pizza after the re-opening. Some say that it has changed and that the sauce is too sweet now, but it tastes the same to me. The deep dish pizza takes a while to cook so don't go if you're in a hurry. I don't think we've ordered anything else since it re-opened. The servers are friendly. I'm not sure how long they'll stay open, though, since it never seems busy there. They also no longer seem to have Trivia (Playmaker), which I used to enjoy.

Very rude service at the bar. Even the waitresses did not offer to see if we needed anything throughout the entire night. This was my first and last time at this bar.

Happy that Boomers is back open again. The pizza is an old familiar friend, but the Long Island Boomer Mugs rest in peace. Even so, there are plenty of over-sized thirst quenchers and a decent craft beer tap selection. Service was reasonable on a busy Friday night.

Adult beverages and deep dish pizza. I think I could stop there and enough readers will nod their heads with an appropriate realization that this combination makes for a decent night out regardless of much else. Let me add another modifier here: the pizza is good. Yup! Hefty slices that make a meal of one bite with a great balance between the crust and sauce. The atmosphere is a bit divey with a tasteful amount of knickknacks adorning the walls and different floor elevations that make navigation a bit challenging on a "good" night. Classy isn't even a consideration here so don't expect it. Just get in for some beers and pizza and you'll be good to go.

Typical mid-level sports bar. Nice atmosphere, some booths, some tables, bunch of TVs. Whatever. Lunch service was good, and the menu was typical bar fare. I went outside the bar norm and ordered a Cobb salad, which was well put together. I'd go back.

Place was closed down for almost a year then reopened with very little changes. Same outside, same inside, same lack of atmosphere! Besides the deep dish pizza I would have no reason to go to Boomers.... ever!

Best pizza ever. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The prices are excellent. By far the best place to happy hour after a long work week!

Lets start by saying that B Boomers is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that locals don't want to change. The place didn't close because of a lack of interest from customers, the owners were tired and wanted to retire so they closed.....we cried because not having the Purple Rain Long Islands in our favorite take home Detroit Mug, and Deep Dish Chicago Pizza was rather depressing. It was also the best place to go watch a game or hear a good band from time to time.....with that being said, the locals were anxiously awaiting the reopening of B Boomers....we were thrilled that the décor stayed the same and our favorite items were still on the menu, even more thrilled that the food is still quite good as well as the drinks....My biggest fear is that the new owners want to turn it into a sleezy hang out for the 21 year olds by advertising skanks in referee outfits and DJ's that have dumb names like DJ Jazzy QTip.....come on Boomers, don't make this a meat market...keep the good food and lets make it a great place for the locals to drink some, laugh some and cheer on a team......We are counting on you.....

Some serious eye candy....for the sports fan, Oh and the foods pretty good too! Burgers are pretty good. Chicken strips are good too. I ordered my burger medium, it was perfect. As soon as the food was ready, they brought it to me fast. I went with a few business people and they were pretty happy with the bar as well. Had a great time checking out all of the sports stuff hanging all over.

This place is my regular hang-out. Great food, Great staff, Great atmosphere. They are well known for their deep dish pizza, yummy! But I really love their wings. The waitstaff is friendly and on their game. It is a true sports bar with a great view from any table/booth. I highly recommend this place.

Got the turkey on pretzel bread! Very tasty but not sure it was worth $8

Love this place. Great Pizza, amazing wings. service is usually great. Last time, they had a band... that wasnt horrid, but it was loud in there. Saw a dude air guitaring and swigging beers left on tables, that was most enjoyable.
